ABOUT ALEXANDER

Alexander J. Rich is a multifaceted storyteller. He is a playwright, director, novelist, and children’s book author whose creative journey began in childhood under the influence of his grandmother, a playwright who nurtured his imagination and love for stories. His debut play Where Is the Church: The Warning premiered to a packed house on April 23, 2016, only hours after his father’s funeral. That night revealed his gift for storytelling and his ability to move audiences through powerful productions.

Since then, Alexander has written and directed numerous plays for churches and schools, including works for Christmas, Easter, and Black History Month. Much of his theatrical work reflects his faith and often weaves scripture and spiritual themes directly into the narrative, while his novels explore timeless questions of legacy, power, and redemption through the lens of epic fantasy.

Now expanding into novels and children’s literature, Alexander creates stories that explore legacy, identity, and the human experience. His fantasy trilogy A Throne of Grace, beginning with The Frozen Throne, combines prophecy and imagination with richly layered characters and worlds. Readers will encounter emotions and life lessons that lead them on an expansive and intriguing journey, uncovering themes from jealousy to family secrets within a world that often mirrors our own. Beyond this series, Alexander’s work spans coming-of-age narratives, children’s literature, and intimate family dramas that explore the secrets we keep and the truths we inherit.

For him, writing is more than storytelling. It is a way to honor his grandmother’s legacy, give voice to the characters who live in his imagination, and create experiences that stay with people long after the story ends. When he is not crafting worlds on the page, Alexander works in cybersecurity, balancing analytical precision with creative vision.
